The bushfire crisis is still going - more and more bodies are being found. the death toll is now up to 181. 1050 homes are destroyed, with over 5000 people now homeless. And the fires are still raging. Some area have been contained, however they are not out. This morning I heard a report that believes 1 in 5 residents from Marysville has lost their life. :(
I am ever so pround of our Australian community though. Everyone has been digging deep for the bushfire appeal, and so far $45 million has been raised. What an amazing effort!!!
