WILSON's Prom - Sunday walk to Squeeky Beach

The weather on Sunday was fantastic. Calm, Sunny, peaceful. So four families joined together for a walk from Tidal River to Squeeky Beach. I have never walked that track before - it is a really good one for the kids to start on. So off we went - 8 parents, and 10 children - of which only two are girls.
Once at the beach, most of the kids took their shoes and socks off, rolled up their pants and headed for the water. Cam was no exception!! Out came the kite again - for a really great fly.

At the end of the beach is an amazing group of ENORMOUS boulders. The tide was out on Sunday , so these boulders provided heaps of nooks and crannies to play hide and seek.

While the older kids played their games, the youngest three ( only 5 mnths apart) happlily mucked around in the sand, with an occasional wander around the rocks.

Love this pic of Mitchell - it one of the only pics where his isn't making a silly face. Had to show this little darling. Completely interested in doing her own thing. Go girl.
On the way back to the cabins, we came through the track, to be sighted with the sun over the river. Just breathtaking.Part of the group is still crossing the bridge.
.
I found it really hard to take pics though - as the whole day I had three children who ALL wanted my hand, NOT Daddy's.Posted by Picasa
