A GOOD DAY TODAY

After a rotten night of children coughing and spluttering from their colds, I was so thankful to have a bright SUNNY day. we have had such grey gloomy weather the last few weeks - I am dreading winter.

Decided that Mitch and Cam were not well enough to go to kinder. A hard choice when the energy was still inside them, just bursting to get out. The green noses and coughs were convincing though. So we went to a local park to burn off some steam. Mitch was SOOO pleased to be visiting the "Yellow Park" so named by him cause of the huge yellow slide there. A favourite of his.

Jonathan is walking everywhere now , however he is not ready for shoes yet, so just left nice warm socks on him for the park. Hoped that he wouldn't get into too much mud??? J is also adoring slides. Watching his older brothers from the bottom of the giant slide seemed cruel - so let him go on the smaller ones - much to his cackles of delight.

Cam found a little girl to play with at the park - and I was amazed to hear him ask her "want to play chasy?" Hit a button inside that told me - my little boy is growing up.

Jane rang today - probably meeting up with herself and Katie T on Friday night at CTYD. Feel totally out of my league with these masters of craft around..... but should be fun - and a chance to get out of the house.

Oh how sunshine can make life seem so much happier.

Till next time. Lisa
